In high-school, and all the way through pre-parenthood, Friday’s were the best days, of course. You would drop you book-bag at home, hop into someone’s car on your way to who knew where, and forget about homework until after dinner on Sunday night. Now, as we stumble into “maturity” nothing brings us greater joy on a Fridays than the prospect of curling up with the latest report on sustainable alternative solid biomass energy or the most recent installment of WASHPlus Weekly, especially if the issue is devoted entirely to Cookstove Fuels. Catching up on the latest episode of Game of Thrones will have to wait, (along with doing the dishes, folding laundry, playing ball with the kids and fetch with Fido) until we’ve thoroughly devoured and digested the issue in question.
We’ll talk more about the content of the issue next week.
