Le Association unie des producteurs de briquettes du Kenya<\/a> L'UBPA a d\u00e9marr\u00e9 l'ann\u00e9e avec enthousiasme en f\u00e9vrier dernier. Nous sommes heureux d'annoncer une forte participation \u00e0 son assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale annuelle, parrain\u00e9e par The Charcoal Project \u00e0 Nairobi. Ces entrepreneurs d\u00e9vou\u00e9s ont fait preuve d'un engagement fort pour trouver des solutions pour am\u00e9liorer la sant\u00e9 des femmes et pr\u00e9server l'environnement. L'\u00e9v\u00e9nement a \u00e9t\u00e9 marqu\u00e9 par la pr\u00e9sence d'intervenants exceptionnels, dont Docteur Faith Wandera-Odongo<\/a>, Directeur des \u00e9nergies renouvelables, Minist\u00e8re de l'\u00c9nergie et du P\u00e9trole et Charlot Magayi, Fondateur, Po\u00eales propres Mukuru<\/a>Le Dr Wandera a \u00e9voqu\u00e9 les tendances politiques en mati\u00e8re d'\u00e9nergies renouvelables au Kenya et la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 pour les producteurs de combustibles propres de fournir des donn\u00e9es d'impact afin d'informer le gouvernement sur le secteur. Mme Magayi a \u00e9galement \u00e9voqu\u00e9 son exp\u00e9rience d'entrepreneuse et le chemin qui l'a men\u00e9e \u00e0 la cr\u00e9ation d'une entreprise prosp\u00e8re de cuisson propre.<\/p>\n

Heureusement, plusieurs partenaires de l'UBPA ont \u00e9galement pu partager leurs derni\u00e8res actualit\u00e9s et leur expertise. Parmi les partenaires pr\u00e9sents figuraient Association pour une cuisine propre au Kenya<\/a>, Mise sous tension (Ashden)<\/a> et le Association des foyers am\u00e9lior\u00e9s du Kenya<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Enfin, une nouvelle liste de membres du bureau a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9lue lors de l'assembl\u00e9e, Brian Onyango passant de pr\u00e9sident par int\u00e9rim \u00e0 pr\u00e9sident \u00e9lu. Les nouveaux membres du bureau sont les suivants\u00a0:<\/p>\n
