UBPA du Kenya, premi\u00e8re assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale qui se tiendra \u00e0 Nairobi le 23 juillet 2019.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

L'Afrique de l'Est, et le Kenya en particulier, s'efforcent de trouver un moyen d'approvisionner les m\u00e9nages et les entreprises en charbon de bois sans nuire au portefeuille des consommateurs et \u00e0 la sant\u00e9 des for\u00eats restantes du pays.<\/p>\n

Les l\u00e9gislateurs kenyans, les administrateurs des agences gouvernementales et la communaut\u00e9 internationale des donateurs pr\u00e9occup\u00e9s par la s\u00e9cheresse et la d\u00e9forestation \u00e0 travers le pays et la r\u00e9gion ont n\u00e9glig\u00e9 une solution simple, mais rentable et, plus important encore, durable\u00a0<\/strong>solution: briquettes de charbon<\/strong>. Les briquettes de charbon constituent un bon substitut au charbon de bois et peuvent \u00eatre constitu\u00e9es de divers types de biomasse carbonis\u00e9e, y compris les d\u00e9chets agricoles mis au rebut, la poussi\u00e8re de charbon de bois et m\u00eame les d\u00e9chets humains d\u00e9sinfect\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Un nombre inconnu d'entreprises de fabrication de briquettes fonctionnent avec succ\u00e8s \u00e0 travers le Kenya et le mardi 23 juilletr<\/sup><\/strong>d<\/sup>, les producteurs auront la chance de se r\u00e9unir \u00e0 Nairobi pour participer \u00e0 la premi\u00e8re association nationale de briqueteurs du Kenya appel\u00e9e Association unie des producteurs de briquettes (UBPA). <\/strong><\/p>\n

L'\u00e9v\u00e9nement est ouvert aux producteurs et aux invit\u00e9s sp\u00e9ciaux. L'\u00e9v\u00e9nement aura lieu du 9h \u00e0 15h <\/strong>\u00e0 Nairobi. Les producteurs doivent d'abord s'inscrire et payer leur cotisation annuelle afin de participer.<\/p>\n

Les r\u00e9sultats souhait\u00e9s de l'\u00e9v\u00e9nement sont les suivants\u00a0:<\/p>\n

  1. Acqu\u00e9rir une compr\u00e9hension \u00e0 jour du march\u00e9 du charbon de bois et des briquettes et de leur potentiel \u00e0 travers le Kenya<\/li>\n
  2. Identifier les opportunit\u00e9s et les obstacles \u00e0 la mise \u00e0 l'\u00e9chelle des entreprises de briquettes<\/li>\n
  3. \u00c9tablir les dirigeants et les comit\u00e9s de l'UBPA<\/li>\n
  4. D\u00e9terminer les sous-comit\u00e9s et leur leadership<\/li>\n
  5. D\u00e9finir l'orientation g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de l'organisation<\/li>\n
  6. Prochaines \u00e9tapes<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Un conf\u00e9rencier invit\u00e9 sp\u00e9cial sera\u00a0Ing.Stephen Nzioka<\/strong>, Directeur de Waste to Energy au minist\u00e8re de l'\u00c9nergie du Kenya<\/strong>. M. Nzioka discutera des tendances r\u00e9centes en mati\u00e8re de valorisation \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique des d\u00e9chets au Kenya.<\/p>\n

    \u00c0 propos de l'UBPA<\/strong><\/p>\n

    UBPA\u00a0<\/strong>est le r\u00e9sultat d'une conf\u00e9rence sur le briquetage de charbon qui s'est tenue au Kenya en octobre 2018. La r\u00e9union, appel\u00e9e Faire progresser les entreprises de charbon de bois durables \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle (AScHES)<\/a>, a eu lieu sous les auspices de D-Lab (MIT) bas\u00e9 aux \u00c9tats-Unis et de The Charcoal Project (une organisation \u00e0 but non lucratif). L'\u00e9v\u00e9nement a rassembl\u00e9 des producteurs de briquettes du monde entier, en particulier d'Afrique de l'Est. Les deux entit\u00e9s partagent l'objectif de soutenir l'expansion et la r\u00e9plication des entreprises de briquetage en Afrique de l'Est et sur le reste du continent en soutenant les innovations techniques, financi\u00e8res et politiques.<\/p>\n
