Un douanier qui a pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 garder l&#039;anonymat a racont\u00e9 <strong>L&#039;ICIR<\/strong> que les producteurs de charbon de bois chinois op\u00e8rent au Nigeria avec de fausses soci\u00e9t\u00e9s parce qu&#039;ils savent que leurs activit\u00e9s sont ill\u00e9gales. Lorsqu&#039;ils utilisent des transitaires pour faire sortir le charbon de bois \u00e0 l&#039;ext\u00e9rieur du pays, leurs v\u00e9ritables entreprises re\u00e7oivent les produits en Chine et en Cor\u00e9e, a indiqu\u00e9 la source.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Alors pourquoi cette histoire est-elle importante ? Parce que\u00a0<em>&quot;La production clandestine de charbon de bois par les Chinois non seulement \u00e9puise les for\u00eats, mais prive \u00e9galement le Nig\u00e9ria des revenus de l&#039;entreprise car ils ne paient pas les frais d&#039;obtention ou de renouvellement des permis et ils ne paient pas les taxes appropri\u00e9es car leur entreprise n&#039;est pas enregistr\u00e9e&quot;.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00ab Pour prot\u00e9ger l&#039;\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me nig\u00e9rian d&#039;un nouvel appauvrissement d\u00fb \u00e0 la production de charbon de bois, les r\u00e9glementations officielles exigent qu&#039;une entreprise obtienne des permis aupr\u00e8s de la commission foresti\u00e8re de l&#039;\u00c9tat et du D\u00e9partement f\u00e9d\u00e9ral des for\u00eats avant de se lancer dans la production commerciale de charbon de bois.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Une partie de la r\u00e9glementation stipule qu&#039;&quot;une personne ne peut obtenir un permis de production de charbon de bois sans disposer d&#039;un plan de reboisement et de r\u00e9habilitation pour la zone d&#039;o\u00f9 le charbon de bois sera d\u00e9riv\u00e9 ou produit&quot;.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>F\u00e9licitations \u00e0 l&#039;ICIR pour avoir fait la lumi\u00e8re sur cette op\u00e9ration ill\u00e9gale.
