De plus, le rapport nous dit que <strong>des niveaux accrus de consommation de bio\u00e9nergie et des prix plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s entra\u00eenent une augmentation de la valeur marchande \u00e0 pr\u00e8s de $70 milliards d&#039;ici 2040. <\/strong>(C&#039;est environ $12 milliards aujourd&#039;hui.)<\/p>\n<p>Creusons plus profond\u00e9ment. D&#039;o\u00f9 vient la croissance ? La diapositive ci-dessous raconte une partie de l&#039;histoire\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.charcoalproject.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Screen-Shot-2019-01-30-at-9.44.06-AM.png\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5217 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charcoalproject.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Screen-Shot-2019-01-30-at-9.44.06-AM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1196\" height=\"673\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>En bref, la bio\u00e9nergie sous forme de biocarburants (vraisemblablement liquides), de biogaz et de pellets conna\u00eetra sa plus forte croissance. Ceci est coh\u00e9rent avec un consensus croissant autour du potentiel de la bio\u00e9nergie pour l&#039;Afrique, et c&#039;est que (1) la bio peut \u00eatre une part substantielle du g\u00e2teau de l&#039;\u00e9quilibre \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique de la r\u00e9gion et, (2), la bio reste un secteur largement sous-investi.<\/p>\n<p>L&#039;autre chose \u00e0 noter est que cette croissance projet\u00e9e est bas\u00e9e sur ce que le rapport appelle le &quot;sc\u00e9nario de nouvelles politiques&quot;. Le grand \u00ab si \u00bb dans tout cela est de savoir si cette multiplicit\u00e9 de nouvelles politiques sera un jour adopt\u00e9e et\/ou mise en \u0153uvre. Ces politiques n\u00e9cessiteront des investissements massifs dans les infrastructures qui, pr\u00e8s de cinq ans apr\u00e8s la publication du rapport, ne semblent pas encore s&#039;\u00eatre concr\u00e9tis\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Chose int\u00e9ressante, la croissance du charbon de bois devrait \u00eatre relativement modeste. Mais tout d\u00e9pendra de l&#039;adoption ou non de ces nouvelles politiques et des r\u00e9sultats escompt\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Regardons quelques diapositives suppl\u00e9mentaires.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.charcoalproject.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Screen-Shot-2019-01-30-at-10.06.29-AM.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5224 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charcoalproject.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Screen-Shot-2019-01-30-at-10.06.29-AM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1190\" height=\"665\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>En 2016, le tableau ci-dessus nous indique que l&#039;Afrique de l&#039;Est et de l&#039;Ouest sont actuellement les plus gros consommateurs de biocarburants, principalement sous forme de charbon de bois, sans aucun doute. Le tableau ci-dessous montre plus clairement d&#039;o\u00f9 provient la consommation de charbon de bois.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.charcoalproject.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Screen-Shot-2019-01-30-at-10.11.28-AM.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5227 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.charcoalproject.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/Screen-Shot-2019-01-30-at-10.11.28-AM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1188\" height=\"664\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Quelques autres conclusions \u00e0 noter :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Quatre sur cinq <\/b>les habitants de l&#039;Afrique subsaharienne d\u00e9pendent de l&#039;utilisation traditionnelle de la biomasse solide, principalement du bois de chauffage, pour la cuisine.<\/li>\n<li>Une hausse de 40% de la demande en bio\u00e9nergie <b>exacerbe les tensions sur le stock forestier<\/b>, les efforts pour promouvoir une production de bois plus durable \u00e9tant entrav\u00e9s par la <b>fonctionnement d&#039;une grande partie de la cha\u00eene d&#039;approvisionnement en bois de feu et en charbon de bois en dehors de l&#039;\u00e9conomie formelle<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>La raret\u00e9, ainsi que les efforts pour rendre disponibles des carburants alternatifs comme le gaz de p\u00e9trole liqu\u00e9fi\u00e9, entra\u00eenent une <b>certains s&#039;\u00e9loignent du bois <\/b>usage, surtout en ville.<\/li>\n<li>Promotion de <b>foyers \u00e0 biomasse plus efficaces <\/b>r\u00e9duit les effets sur la sant\u00e9 de la pollution par la fum\u00e9e int\u00e9rieure.<\/li>\n<li>N\u00e9anmoins, <b>650 millions de personnes <\/b>\u2013 plus d&#039;un tiers d&#039;une population en expansion \u2013 <b>encore cuisiner avec de la biomasse de mani\u00e8re inefficace et dangereuse <\/b>en 2040.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cela signifie que pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 la croissance des projets de la demande en bio\u00e9nergie dans les d\u00e9cennies \u00e0 venir, TOUTES les solutions \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques de la biomasse doivent \u00eatre sur la table. Donc, si vous vendez des microgaz\u00e9ificateurs et des granul\u00e9s de bois, BON POUR VOUS\u00a0! Si vous vendez des cuisini\u00e8res am\u00e9lior\u00e9es, SUPER\u00a0! Si vous fabriquez des combustibles de substitution au charbon de bois carbonis\u00e9 durable, comme des briquettes, CONTINUEZ !<\/p>\n<p>C&#039;est un peu comme s&#039;attaquer au changement climatique : l&#039;ASS a besoin de tout ce qui pr\u00e9c\u00e8de. Correctement r\u00e9alis\u00e9es, ces solutions pourraient \u00eatre neutres en carbone ou m\u00eame n\u00e9gatives en carbone. Ce que l&#039;on sait, c&#039;est que pour passer \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9chelle et avoir un impact r\u00e9el, les politiques nationales devront \u00eatre clairement \u00e9nonc\u00e9es et vigoureusement
