TCP a recherch\u00e9 et d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 des mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res et des cha\u00eenes d'approvisionnement \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques durables et renouvelables. De nombreux producteurs de briquettes de charbon de bois d\u00e9pendent de la poussi\u00e8re de charbon de bois, \u00e9galement connue sous le nom de fines de charbon de bois, qui est un sous-produit de d\u00e9chet g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9 par la production et la distribution traditionnelles de charbon de bois. Bien que l'utilisation de la poussi\u00e8re de bois soit un bon moyen de nettoyer les flux de d\u00e9chets, cela ajoute \u00e0 la cha\u00eene de valeur d'un produit qui n'est pas durable et incite davantage les producteurs \u00e0 continuer avec des m\u00e9thodes traditionnelles et inefficaces.<\/p>

Les mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res durables peuvent inclure des plantes nuisibles, des d\u00e9chets de r\u00e9colte ou de la biomasse cultiv\u00e9e sp\u00e9cifiquement pour la r\u00e9colte d'\u00e9nergie, comme le bambou ou les arbres. La mati\u00e8re premi\u00e8re peut \u00eatre transform\u00e9e en charbon de bois en morceaux ou en briquettes. De plus, les flux de d\u00e9chets provenant des ordures urbaines peuvent \u00e9galement \u00eatre transform\u00e9s en briquettes de charbon de bois.
